Here's another idea if you are already doing that first bit.

Try to look for ways that your character can set up someone else's character to look good.

You can do this by taking some aspect of their backstory or mechanics, and merging it with something you want to RP about, and set them up to have the spotlight and talk about it a bit with you.

Start with something small. Like you could talk, in character, to the rogue about how to extract the Hydrus' poison sac safely. That may not have been something they had thought of yet, and now they have something cool to do to see if they can make off with a substance that could make their sneak attack even more broken! And in the mean time, you get to not only practice your RP, but you get a bit of two way with someone else, too.
